A Mother’s Strength: The Ebell Family’s Story

From the day I was released from the hospital after the unexpected early birth of our daughter to the day we brought her home, the Ronald McDonald House is the reason we made it through still smiling and living as if we were all “normal” at home.

The George Family

After going into complicated premature labor just 27 weeks into her pregnancy, Venessa and her unborn twin girls were airlifted from Carlsbad, New Mexico, to Lovelace Women’s Hospital in Albuquerque.

In early October, Steffani and her partner, Sterling, received the news no parent-to-be wants to hear; their daughter, Scarlett, would be arriving early. “It was scary, but not unexpected, the doctors told us that my uterus had stopped growing, so there just wasn’t enough space for her to reach full term,” Steffani said.

Olivas Family Story

We are so grateful to have the help of the Ronald McDonald House. My four-year-old son, Ozmar, was born with normal hearing, which was then wiped out by bacterial meningitis by the age of two.
